Gardner Paint and Body is also an auto paint shop providing auto body painting. Whether you need auto body painting for your wrecked vehicle or would like a completely new look for your vehicle… we can help you!  We use the PPG refinishing system – clear coat and tri coat. PPG is parent company for AquabasePlus Waterborne. All our equipment is state of the art including our heated pressurized down-draft spray booth and our paint retrieval camera and its computer color matching software. We have more than 16 thousand auto paint color codes available. Our auto body painting process involves:

• Pre-detailing to eliminate oil and grease from your surface panels. Pre-detailing also helps keep dust to a minimum

• Machine and hand sanding for adhesion. As with any type of paint job, the surface preparation is key to giving you the best and most durable finish

• Expert masking to reduce over spray. We use a special chemically treated paper to eliminate lint and low tack masking tape to protect your vehicle from excessive over spray and to protect the moldings

• Bond seal primer for extra adhesion and to provide a seamless finish

• Painting in our temperature controlled paint booth to give you a consistent paint job

• Baking in our enclosed oven. This allows for additional paint flow and it keeps dust to a minimum

Aquabase Plus waterborne basecoat delivers high performance and flexibility, reducing process times and giving a perfect finish. Aquabase Plus waterborne basecoat provides an excellent match to solid colour, metallic, 2 and 3 stage pearl and xirallic colours.
